An Historic Half-Day Adventure!
Wondering what to do after the IDQSummit?
We suggest treating yourself to our Friday Tour of historic Richmond, Virginia!
Step aboard our private tour bus at 8:15 am Friday morning
(October 10, 2014), and be transported through time, back to
the US Civil War era. On this tour, you will enjoy insightful
commentary from our private tour guide while visiting several
historic Civil War landmarks.
You will also enjoy visiting the oldest legislature continuously
operating in the Western Hemisphere, the Virginia State Capitol
(www.virginiacapitol.gov) and St. John’s Church
(www.historicstjohnschurch.org), founded in 1775, where Patrick
Henry gave his now-famous “Give me liberty, or give me death” speech.
The tour will conclude with lunch at the famous Hanover Tavern (www.hanovertavern.org), founded in 1733, where Patrick Henry worked and married the owner’s daughter.
The bus will bring everyone back to the Wyndham Virginia Crossings Hotel by 2:00 pm Friday afternoon.
Price for the tour is $85 per person, and includes admission to historical sites, lunch and all tips. You can register for the tour while registering for the IDQSummit (see link above).
We look forward to seeing you in historic Richmond, Virginia!
